Knowing Your LibraryEngineering Library

  1. Introduction

    The Engineering Library is one of the special subject libraries in the University of Malaya Library network and covers a floor space about 115.20 sq. meters with seating capacity for 200 students. The Library core function is to support the learning, teaching and research needs of undergraduate, postgraduate students, and the academic staff and researchers of the Faculty of Engineering. However, it is also opened to other registered users of the University of Malaya Library network, subject to some limitation in borrowings.



  2. Location

    Sixth floor of the Laboratory Wing of the Engineering Tower at the Faculty of Engineering.



  3. Collection

    The collection developed gives priority on the learning and teaching programme of the Engineering Faculty especially in the areas of biomedical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering design and manufacture and mechanical engineering. The library materials include both primary and secondary sources, such as books, journals, reference books, dissertation and theses, conference proceedings and electronic resources.
